Wilderness Survival

Today, I was privileged enough to drive around south eastern Idaho with this dude:

His name is Alex Fisher and he's my roommate. We were driving to the Sawtooth mountains because we were curious about what was out there. Not like I have to say it, but those mountains are beautiful. Here's a peak (get it? peak as in mountain peak not sneak peek...):

Then we had a change of plans and decided to drive to Salmon, Idaho. Why? To get pizza mainly but also to visit the location of a To Russia (RIP) show. To Russia (free download of everything the band ever recorded) is the name of the band I used to be in with Alex. Although random, it was a fun show mainly because we played on an island. Here's the pavilion:

Visiting our old stomping ground made us build up an appetite so we ate at Dave's Pizza and I ordered this thing. Amazing!!! Seriously best pizza I've had here in Idaho.

To close our adventure we stopped by the 45th parallel. For those of you who are normal and don't know what that is; it's the halfway point between the equator and the North Pole. I felt proud to be there.

Peace!
